Things to know for this auction:
Auction Site: On location at 1015 Gault Ave S, Fort Payne, Alabama.
Preview: Preview will be on Friday, September 8th from 9 AM until 4 PM.
SPECIAL NOTE on the OFFICE BUILDING: Due to the size and permitting required, the building CAN ONLY be moved close to its current location in Fort Payne. Jerry White House Movers has already lifted the building and MUST BE used to move the building to its desired location. Any potential purchaser of the building must contact us prior to bidding to ensure the building can be moved to the desired location. ALL EXPENSES INVOLVED WITH THE MOVING OF THE OFFICE BUILDING ARE THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE PURCHASER. NO REFUNDS will be given by Swafford Auction Group, LLC once the building is sold.
Registration: You may register at the preview on Friday, September 8th or registration will begin 1 hour prior to auction start time on sale day. All interested persons must register to bid prior to bidding.
Terms: There is a 10% Buyer’s Premium on all items that will be added to Purchaser’s bid to arrive at the final bid price.
All applicable sale taxes will be charged unless buyer has Tax Exempt status. All personal property items are to be PAID in FULL on the day of auction and prior to removal.
All property is being sold "AS IS" “WHERE IS” with all conditions and faults and without warranty of any kind. Bidders shall inspect the property prior to bidding, with no reliance whatsoever on any written or verbal description prepared by Seller or Auctioneer as to year, make, model, condition, or operating status of any item. It is the bidder's responsibility to check out any item(s) prior to bidding.
Special Note on Firearms: There is a $20.00 registration fee for each firearm. The registration fee is paid directly to DeKalb Sportsman prior to receiving the firearms. If a purchaser fails background check no refund will be given by Swafford Auction Group, LLC and Seller will retain the firearm. Firearms can be picked up on Monday, September 11th after 12 p.m. All firearms must be picked up at DeKalb Sportsman & Pawn 2310 Gault Ave N, Fort Payne, AL 35967 (256) 997-0707.
Title Fee: There is a $60.00 title fee on any vehicle that requires a title.
