     We are honored to offer at public auction the "Mayor" Edward Mackey Estate. Mr. Mackey was elected as mayor of Leesburg for multiple terms. He was a lifelong resident of Leesburg. The property is located on what was once considered Mackey, Alabama. With much history this beautiful property sits on the corner of Keener Drive and Mackey Street.

The home consists of three bedrooms, two full baths (One with a walk-in tub/shower with quick drain, whirlpool, lights, and air spa), a large living room, a bonus room, a utility room, and a foyer all on the main floor. Auction Site: On location at 690 Keener Drive, Leesburg, AL 35983

Directions to Auction Site: From Leesburg at the intersection of US Hwy 411 and AL Hwy 68 take US Hwy 411 South for 1.6 miles just past Garrett Tire to Mackey Street and turn right. Take Mackey Street toward Keener Drive, property is on the corner. Auction signs are posted. 

Previews: Previews will be on Sunday, March 28th from 1 PM until 3 PM and Friday, April 2nd from 9 AM until 3 PM for all personal property items and real estate. 

Registration: You may register at the preview on Friday, April 2nd or registration will begin 1 hour prior to auction start time on sale day. All interested persons must register to bid prior to bidding.

Terms:  There is a 10% Buyer’s Premium on the Real Estate that will be added to the Purchaser’s bid to arrive at the final bid price. The ten percent (10%) Buyer's Premium is due on the day of auction for the Real Estate and will serve as the deposit. The deposit will be held in escrow until closing. Balance is due at closing. The closing will be held on or before May 3, 2021. This sale is not contingent on a potential buyer’s ability to obtain financing.

There is a 10% Buyer’s Premium on all personal property that will be added to the Purchaser’s bid to arrive at the final bid price. All applicable sale taxes will be charged unless the buyer has Tax Exempt status. All personal property items are to be PAID in FULL on the day of auction and prior to removal. 

All property is being offered "AS IS" without any warranties, guarantees, or promises.

Survey Fee: There is a survey fee on each tract. The survey fee is due and payable by the purchaser on the day of the auction.
